In this topic, you will learn about the Project Dashboard and its capabilities.
The Project Dashboard gives a glimpse of the overall status of various assets belonging to each of the projects.
Assets namely:
- Pipelines
- Datasets
- Receipes
- AI/ML Models
- Jobs and
- Connections
Other featured sections namely: Needs your Attention, Scheduled runs in last 24 hrs, Recent Activities, and Checked-out Assets (0) are displayed to give quick insight into the project.
Now let us walk through the Dextrus Project dashboard page and its various capabilities.
- Login to the Dextrus application with the provided credentials.
- Click on the Login button.
- Once the application authenticates the user credentials. Dextrus home page is displayed.
- Click the hamburger menu on the top right corner of the Home page.
- Select the ‘My Projects’ option from the hamburger menu window.
- The ‘Projects’ page is opened.
- Select the ‘SAMPLEPROJECT’ Project name from the list.
- The selected Project Name dashboard appears.
- This dashboard displays various assets: Datasets, Pipelines, Recipes, AI/ML Models, Jobs, and Connections.
Note: All the assets displayed in the dashboard are clickable options.
- Apart from assets, the dashboard displays: Needs your Attention, Scheduled runs in last 24 hrs, Recent Activities, and Checked-out Assets (0) sections.
- Needs your Attention: The assets whose status is ‘Error’ and Remark as ‘Asset Failed’ are displayed. Dextrus urges you to focus on these failed jobs.
Note: The Remark column displays various Asset statuses as failed. (An asset can be a Connection, Dataset, Pipeline, Recipe, AI/ML Model, and Job).

- Scheduled runs in last 24hrs: The scheduled runs that happened in the last 24 hours (Error, Success, and In Progress) are displayed. A pictorial representation of this section is available for easy understanding.
- Recent Activities: <Under Development>
- Checked out Assets (0): <Under Development>
Note: All the options displayed in Needs your Attention and Scheduled runs in the last 24 hrs are clickable assets.
Common functionalities available on the Project dashboard:
- Add
- Refresh
- More
- Click the Add icon to create a new asset.
Note: A new asset can be created from the selected Project dashboard page or the application toolbar.
- A new asset can be created here.
- Click the More option on the selected Project dashboard page to view Manage Category, Activity Log and Delete options.
- Click the Manage Category option to view the assigned category names and add a new category to the selected project.
- You can search for a category name from the Search Category text field.
- Type a new category name in the ‘Type new category name here’ text field and click the Add button to add a new category.
- When you hover on the existing category names only the Edit icon is visible since assets are assigned to each of them.
- Click the Edit icon if you wish to edit the existing category name.
- For example: When a new category name is added ‘New’. You can perform both Edit and Delete actions on it.
Note: When a newly added category name is added Delete icon is visible along with the Edit icon since there are no assets assigned to it.
- Activity Log: <Under Development>
- Click the Delete option to delete the currently viewing project.
- Click the Refresh icon to refresh the currently viewing project dashboard page.
