How to Create a Project

• How to create a new Project

This user guide walks you through the Dextrus Projects module on how to create a Project.

• Once the application authenticates the user credentials. Dextrus home page is displayed.
• Click the hamburger menu on the top right corner of the page.

• Select the ‘My Projects’ option from the hamburger menu window.

• The ‘Projects’ page is opened.

Note: To initiate content in Dextrus, you need to create a new Project.

• Click the Create Project button on the top right corner of the home page.

• The Create Project page is opened. Where you are required to fill in Project details such as Project Name, Domain, and Description (optional).

Note: The Create Project page displays three progressive steps displayed on the left pane vertically.

• Type a Project name in the Project Name text field, for example: 'Userguide_Project'.
• Click the Domain drop-down list to view a list of all available domains, a Search domain text field, and Create new button.

• A 'Add new domain' pop-up window appears.
• Type a Domain name in the Domain Name text field for example: 'Test UserGuide'.
• Click the Confirm button to save the new domain name.

• A message "Successful Domain created with id 8" is displayed on the top of the Create Project page.
• The newly added domain name appears in the Domain drop-down list.
• Click the Continue button to submit the project details.

• A message "Successful New Project "Userguide_Project" is created successfully" is displayed on the top of the Create Project page.
• Now proceed to the next step Assign Groups.
• The available Groups are displayed as an individual tile with a checkbox.
• You can search for a particular group from the Search group text field.
• Click the check box against the ‘Default’ group.
• Click the Continue button to proceed further.

• You have now proceeded to the final step Configure Defaults.
• Type a category name, for example, 'Test_UG' in the Category Name text field, and press Enter key from the keypad.

Note: The typed category name is displayed as a keyword after pressing Enter key from the keypad.

Note: There is no count limitation for adding categories.

• Click the Add Category button beside the Category Name text field.

• A message "Successful Successfully added category" is displayed on the top of the page.
• Click the Continue button.

• Once all the Create Project steps are completed, you can see the "Successfully Created Project" message icon with the created project name.

Note: Create Pipeline, Create Recipe and Create AI/ML Model tiles are displayed.

• Once the project is created you can now proceed further by creating a Pipeline/Recipe/AI/ML Model.
